We carry a large selection of new and previously owned commercial trucks and offer a full suite of maintenance and repair services. We have an immediate opening for a Body Shop Estimator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel truck repair and be able to accurately appraise vehicle damage to determine the cost of repair or customization. If you are a skilled Body Shop Estimator with a passion for providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Requirements
  • Project management to include tracking parts, status updates, and maintain schedule.
  • Examine damaged vehicles to determine extent of damage related to the said incident.
  • Estimate cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
  • Review repair cost estimates with body shop manager or foreman.
  • Determine feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts.
  • Prepare insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies and customers.
  • Estimate cost of repainting, converting to special purposes or customizing undamaged vehicles.

Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with staff, customers, and insurance providers.
  • Organized and able to track multiple projects at one time.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and estimating software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training.
  • Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
