Job description

McCloskey Appearance Center is a fast-growing auto cosmetic repair company based in Colorado Springs. Our business is booming and we are looking for an experienced Paint & Body Shop Manager to lead our team and oversee the entire operation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to take ownership of a facility that includes Detail, Paint, Body Work, and Assembly.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of the Detail, Paint, Body, and Assembly departments.
  • Prepare and present accurate quotes for paint, body, and cosmetic work.
  • Mentor and grow technicians across all departments through coaching and training.
  • Recruit, hire, and motivate qualified team members.
  • Ensure quality control and timely completion of all work.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, invoicing, and final billing (including insurance supplements).
  • Maintain strong vendor and insurance relationships to maximize profitability.
  • Approve sublet/outside vendor invoices.
  • Monitor gross profit opportunities and drive operational efficiency.
  • Perform quality checks on completed jobs to ensure customer satisfaction and brand standards.
  • Maintain safety standards and a professional work environment.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of management experience in a Body Shop, Detail Shop, or Automotive Dealership.
  • Proven ability to quote and manage repair work.
  • Strong knowledge of paint, body, detailing, and assembly processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Clean background check.
