What is a body sculptor?

Body sculptors are professionals who use non-invasive or minimally invasive techniques to contour and enhance the body's appearance. They often utilize treatments such as cryolipolysis (fat freezing), laser therapy, radiofrequency, or ultrasound to target stubborn fat deposits and improve skin tone. Body sculptors may work in spas, wellness centers, or medical clinics, and sometimes collaborate with licensed medical practitioners. The goal of body sculpting is to help clients achieve a more toned and shapely physique without surgery. These procedures typically require little to no downtime and are considered safe for most people.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a body sculptor?

To thrive as a Body Sculptor, you need a solid understanding of human anatomy, body contouring techniques, and relevant health and safety standards, often supported by certification from an accredited aesthetics or cosmetology program. Familiarity with non-invasive body sculpting devices such as cryolipolysis, ultrasound cavitation, and radiofrequency systems is typically required. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of aesthetics help practitioners build client trust and deliver personalized results. These competencies ensure safe, effective treatments and high client satisfaction in this competitive field.

What are common challenges body sculptors face when working with clients, and how can these be managed?

Body Sculptors often encounter challenges such as managing client expectations, addressing individual body types, and ensuring the safety and comfort of clients during treatments. Building strong communication skills is essential to educate clients about realistic outcomes and the importance of multiple sessions. Additionally, keeping up with industry best practices, regularly updating certifications, and maintaining strict hygiene protocols help Body Sculptors provide effective and safe results, fostering client trust and satisfaction.

Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) — IV Therapy & Medical Aesthetics
BodyWorks — The Human Body Shop | Alpharetta, GA

BodyWorks — The Human Body Shop is looking for a motivated RN to join our growing medical aesthetics and wellness team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse with IV/infusion experience who wants to break into the medical aesthetics field. No aesthetics experience required — we'll train the right candidate from the ground up. www.mybodyworkswell.com

About Us
BodyWorks is a premier medical aesthetics and functional wellness practice offering IV nutrition therapy (L(IV)E Lounge), GLP-1/weight loss programs, body contouring, facial remodeling, lymphatic drainage, peptide therapy, and facial aesthetics. We're building something special in Alpharetta and looking for team members who want to grow with us.

Schedule

  • Tuesday and Friday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Hours and days are subject to change as our service offerings and patient volume grow
  • This role has the potential to move to full-time within approximately 6 months as our aesthetics offerings expand

What You'll Do

  • Administer IV nutrition therapy and hydration drips
  • Perform mechanically assisted lymphatic drainage therapy (training provided)
  • Administer patient injections (weight loss, peptides, aesthetics)
  • Non-surgical body sculpting and non-surgical facial remodeling
  • Draw labs
  • Conduct patient intakes and health assessments
  • Provide patient follow-up care and monitoring
  • Assist with practice compliance — credentialing documentation, protocol sign-offs, and adherence to Medical Director-approved standing orders
  • Support a growing menu of aesthetic services as you train

What We're Looking For

  • Active RN license in Georgia
  • IV/infusion nursing experience required
  • Strong patient-care and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • A genuine interest in growing into medical aesthetics — this is a must
  • Someone who practices what they preach — self-care, wellness, and beauty aren't just services we offer; they're values we live by

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay, with increases tied to certifications acquired
  • Paid training and certification in aesthetic modalities as you grow.
  • Employee perks: free or heavily discounted (at-cost) access to BodyWorks services — IV therapy, lymphatic drainage, body sculpting, facial treatments, and more
  • Room to grow within an expanding practice, including a path to full-time employment
  • Supportive team environment with hands-on mentorship

We believe in walking the walk — our team lives the same self-care and wellness lifestyle we help our clients achieve. If that resonates with you, you'll fit right in.

If you're an RN who's ready to take your career beyond the bedside and into the exciting world of medical aesthetics, we want to hear from you.
