My husband and I started this business May 1, 1991. We have been in business for 26 years. We built our own building in December 2005 and have added on several times. Our business is growing and we are in search of a dedicated master body technician.
Job Description
Job Summary:
Repairs accident related damage to vehicles, restoring them to pre-collision condition in accordance with industry standards and factory specifications. Jerry's Autobody Body Technicians are essential to the repair process and must be able to perform quality repairs in a timely manner, always keeping the customers satisfaction in mind.
Essential Functions:
  1. Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently plans repair process;
  2. Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status;
  3. Performs quality repairs; while keeping in mind on-time status;
  4. Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost and cycle time;
  5. Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim.
  6. Participates in all required safety meetings;
  7. Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools;
  8. Directs the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed, i.e., unusual problems or questions, explaining procedures to assistant, etc

Qualifications
  1. Ability to use frame machine;
  2. Certification in body repair preferred;
  3. Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer;
  4. I-CAR welding certified;
  5. Skilled in analyzing and interpreting measuring data;
  6. Ability to supervise repair personnel;
  7. Must be able to pass thorough background check;
