As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that reflect the goals of the patient and align with the physician's directives.
• Delivering a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education to promote recovery and functional independence.
• Engaging patients and their families in therapy through educational workshops that inform them about recovery processes and the proper use of therapeutic equipment.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Coordinating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and patient interactions to comply with healthcare regulations.
• Participating in continuous professional development and training programs to stay abreast of the latest in physical therapy practices.

Your focus will encompass a varied patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain conditions, and patients requiring rehabilitative care after injury. You will adapt your therapeutic approaches to accommodate each patient’s specific needs, preferences, and functional goals, ensuring a compassionate and supportive atmosphere throughout their rehabilitation journey.

• Valid Physical Therapy License in the State of California.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

• Experience in home care or outpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with patients and healthcare professionals.
