Propane Bobtail Delivery Driver – Local Deliveries, home daily

Delivering essential energy. Serving our communities. Driving with purpose.

As a Propane Bobtail Delivery Driver with Freedom Ag & Energy Cooperative, you’ll be the face of our team—safely delivering fuel products to customers while providing outstanding service. This role offers independence, variety, and the opportunity to work with modern equipment across multiple product lines, including propane, heating oil, kerosene, diesel, and gasoline.

You’ll follow all safety regulations and FAE operating standards, ensure your vehicle is maintained and road-ready, and support customers by installing or servicing related equipment as needed. Every day is different, and every delivery makes an impact.

Why Driver for FAE?  You’ll be part of a cooperative that values teamwork, safety, and service. We provide the training and support you need to succeed—along with a work environment where your contributions matter every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely drive FAE commercial motor vehicles to deliver fuel products to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers.
  • Work independently while meeting all DOT, safety, and FAE compliance standards.
  • Load and unload energy products depending on location needs.
  • Perform general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs to keep equipment in optimal condition.
  • Provide excellent service with all internal and external customers.
  • Operate forklifts, pallets and other industrial equipment as assigned.
  • Assist with equipment installation or maintenance at customer sites when needed.

What You Bring

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Licensing:

  • Class B CDL with Airbrake & Tanker endorsements.
  • HAZMAT certification (or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe).

Experience:

  • At least 6 months operating delivery vehicles (box trucks, pickups, flatbeds, etc.) and/or warehouse experience.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Experience operating industrial equipment, including forklifts.
  • Previous experience with Freedom Ag & Energy is welcome but is not required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle as defined by FAE motor vehicle safety policies.
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, and serving customers with professionalism.

Why You’ll Enjoy Working Here

  • You’ll be part of a cooperative that values teamwork, safety, and service.
  • We provide the training and support you need to succeed.
  • Work environment where your contributions matter every day.
  • The opportunity to make a visible difference for customers every day.

What We Offer

  • Competitive wages
  • Generously paid time off
  • 401(k) with employer contributions
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, short-term disability, long-term disability insurance
  • Health Savings Account (HSA).
  • Team member health and well-being programs
  • Employee discount.

Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: $22 - $25 Hourly
Bonus/Commission: No
