Position Summary

Folger Gas is seeking a safe, dependable, and customer-focused Propane Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll safely operate a Class B propane delivery truck to deliver propane to residential and commercial customers throughout the region. You'll receive specialized training from our experienced team, including assistance obtaining your Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement if needed.

This position requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do
  • Safely operate a single-axle Class B propane delivery truck.

  • Deliver propane to residential and commercial customers accurately and efficiently.

  • Safely connect, pump, and disconnect propane at customer locations.

  • Complete required hazardous materials training and follow all safety procedures.

  • Inspect equipment and vehicles to ensure safe operation.

  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members.

  • Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation.

  • Work additional hours during the busy winter heating season as needed.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to emergency customer needs.

  • Assist with other operational duties as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain a Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement (company-paid training available).

  • Ability to successfully complete and apply hazardous materials training.

  • Must live close enough to respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner.

  • Physically able to operate a Class B delivery truck and pull a propane delivery hose to customer tanks multiple times throughout the day.

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and on steep or uneven terrain.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement.

  • Previous propane delivery or propane industry experience.

  • Commercial driving experience.

  • Mechanical aptitude or equipment maintenance experience.

  • Experience working independently in a field-based role.

Compensation, Benefits & More

Compensation

  • $21.00 - 25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

  • Additional overtime available during the winter season.

  • Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
