Job description

Boat Rigger / Technician
North Texas Marine is looking to fill a open Boat Rigger position at our Fort Worth location.

Job Purpose:
Assist in setting up new/used boats by installing outboard motors, stern drives, electronics, trolling motors and accessories. Prep / PDI of new and used boat packages. Load and unload new product. Test boat on and off water for functional system operation and other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:

Mechanical ability to prep and install outboards and accessories.
Ability to pay close attention to details.
Ability to communicate with customers in courteous and professional manner.
General boat / marine knowledge of products offered by company.
Maintains records by recording problems and corrective actions.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.

Experience and Education:

High school diploma / GED
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
Mechanical ability to take on a wide range of tasks.
Valid Driver's License
Ideal candidate will have Marine dealership experience

Tools/Technology Required: Prefer candidates have own tools necessary for rigging / troubleshooting / repairing
