The Boat House of Three Lakes is looking for a team player to join our team of energetic, fun, customer-focused individuals. This position would be stationed at our Three Lakes facility in Three Lakes, WI the majority of the time with some minimal travel to our other locations as needed for specialized coverage or client need. The Boat House Group has multiple accolades, to include being a Top 100 Dealer, #1 Dealer in the World for NGG and many others.
Weekend work a must for our industry!
The ideal candidate will have the following necessary qualities:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs.
  • Ability to follow a varied list of directions in multiple formats.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge; and
  • Valid driver's license

The candidate who I really want to meet will also:
  • Be competent and able to execute verbal commands in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Wants to learn the ins and outs of working in a service department and the importance of timing when customers are unable to enjoy the water when their boat is inoperable.
  • Consistently show a positive attitude and be a genuine team player.
  • Dedication to learn and grow quickly.
  • Ability to work on, around and under boats while following safety standards; and
  • Some knowledge and/or ability to learn forklift operation

Our team player will have the following essential functions:
  • Communicate with customers and team members professionally and with courtesy. *
  • Complete assigned tasks related to servicing a boat in a timely and safe manner. Tasks will include but are not limited to: preparation for return to customers, pressure washing and scraping boat bottoms as needed, bottom painting of boats as needed, washing service boats for delivery. *
  • When deadlines must be missed, communicate to your manager immediately.*
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with peers and employees in all other business units within the company. *
  • Light Small Forklift operation to unload transport trucks - Training to be provided attending to all safety protocols. *
  • Assisting technicians if needed*
  • Assist in maintaining the professional, clean appearance of the marina/yard, to include but not limited to maintaining public areas. *
  • Attend all assigned meetings, follow all company policies and procedures, and be genuinely pleasant in the workplace toward peers, customers, vendors and any other person who enters the facility. *
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Have experience with boat driving on the water.
