Job Summary:
In this role, you will communicate the unique Goodhue Boat Company and Carefree Boat Club lifestyle, lead on-site and virtual tours, and guide prospects through the membership process with a customer-service mindset to help grow the membership base. This position reports to the Boat Club Membership and Rental Director.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate the unique Goodhue Boat Company and Carefree Boat Club experience to convert prospects into members.
  • Conduct sales presentations and tours of club facilities (on-site and remote).
  • Follow up with leads via phone, email, and text to nurture prospects and secure memberships.
  • Participate in boat shows, trade shows, open houses, member socials, and off-site events.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and member information.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to club success.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and current sales techniques.

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills, both in person and on the phone.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to interact with customers and associates in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.

Preferred Skills
  • Sales experience, intangible product sales a plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Boating experience is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with premium boat manufacturers is preferred but not required.
  • Self-starter who works well independently.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary + commission, based on experience. Benefits package available (health insurance, PTO, etc.).

Schedule
    • Monday-Friday plus weekends (5 days/week) in peak season.
    • Monday-Friday in off-season.
    • Flexible schedule.
