Job description

Make a Difference Behind the Scenes 💛

Our nonprofit is looking for an organized, reliable, and heart-driven Volunteer Secretary to support our leadership team and help keep our mission moving forward. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying organized and wants to make a meaningful impact without being in the spotlight.

What You’ll Do:

• Take notes and keep minutes during meetings

• Help organize documents, schedules, and records

• Review and organize emails

• Support communication between board members and volunteers

• Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed

• Help keep our operations running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

• Organized and detail-oriented

• Comfortable with email, Google Docs, or similar tools

• Reliable and responsive

• Passionate about helping children and families in our community

• Previous admin or secretary experience is a plus, but not required

Time Commitment:

About 8 - 12 hours per month

Mostly virtual, with occasional in-person meetings if local
