JOB DESCRIPTION

Hiring experienced, hardworking and fully flexible Assistant Manager.

***Must have at least QSR Supervisor experience - only qualified candidates will be considered***


*Position Description*

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Tim Hortons location

The successful candidate will have knowledge of the quick service industry and be driven to run a successful operation and achieve Tim Hortons brand standards.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant

• Managing labour costs through effective scheduling and floor management

• Ensuring product launches and promotions are executed with perfection

• Resolving Guest issues and working with the team to deliver excellent Customer Service.

• Recruitment & Retention and training new Team Members

• Following up with Restaurant Manager, Operations Managers, and/or Restaurant Owner on a continuous basis regarding profitability, Tim Hortons metrics and audit performance.

Qualification:

• Must have flexible availability including mornings, evenings and weekends

• Must have 1+ years of QSR Supervisor Experience

• Must have minimum 1 year experience at Tim Hortons

• Has experience leading and supervising teams

• Demonstrate a passion for guest service and creating exception guest experiences

• Has strong operational experience

• Has excellent communication skills

• Have a passion for coaching and mentoring

• Have a drive to improve, problem solve and reach goals

• Strong problem-solving, organization and time management skills

• Excellent knowledge of Tim Horton’s products and procedures

• Action and results orientated

• Strong interpersonal skills (motivating, delegation, conflict management, respect for others, listening)

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, composure)

• Possess valid Driver’s License and car insurance. Must have this vehicle available to you at all times.

• Responsibilities, Essential Functions & Tasks: Customer Service:

• Ensures that proper staffing levels are maintained

• Provides ongoing performance feedback, uses discussion planners when necessary, and conducts regular performance reviews

• Sets goals and objectives

• Is knowledgeable of relevant employment legislation and ensures that all laws are being followed

• Supervises and manages performance of Storefront Employees, Production Employees, and Shift Supervisors to ensure all job duties and behaviors are aligned with store policies and applies progressive discipline where needed

• Must be available to respond to operational issues on command. On call
