We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Hematologic Malignancies team! This position is a unique opportunity to join a state-of-the-art facility with a warm, family feeling.
The Boise St. Luke's Cancer Institute (SLCI) is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to cancer patients, offering a spectrum of services from early detection to survivorship support. Within SLCI, the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program is a beacon of comprehensive care and cellular therapy for individuals battling leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic disorders, and other blood cancers. Distinctively, Boise SLCI hosts Idaho's sole BMT and Hematologic Malignancies Program, ensuring patients access to the most cutting-edge therapies in their community.
What You Can Expect:
  • Part-time (0.8 FTE); day shift
  • Schedule: 4 days a week x 8-hour shifts
  • No nights, weekends, or St. Luke's observed holidays
  • Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
  • As a BMT Float RN, you will support various care areas within the BMT clinic
  • BMT Infusion Clinic: Provide hands-on nursing care for stem cell transplant and CAR T therapy patients, collaborating with providers and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Triage: Coordinate care through telephone triage, offering clinical guidance, patient education, symptom assessment, and timely communication to ensure safe and effective care delivery
  • Primary Nursing Support (Cross-Training Opportunity): Expand clinical expertise through cross-training in primary nursing, partnering with APPs and physicians to support patient appointments, care planning, education, and ongoing treatment management

Qualifications:
  • Education: Nursing Degree
  • Experience: One (1) + years' RN experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Preferred: OCN certification, BMTCN certification, Oncology experience, and/or EPIC experience
