Position: Registered Nurse MNA

Department: Operating Room

Location: BMC South Surgery Center- North Easton

Schedule: Variable days, Variable hours

Position Summary:

As an RN at the BMC South Surgery Center, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Using our patient-centered care model you will be uplifted by a supportive nursing organization, and will be able to deliver the excellent care to your patients that they deserve.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nursing care in the Department, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
  • Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
  • Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
  • Update and manage patient records
  • Enter and interpret computerized data/information
  • Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC's nursing organization
  • Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
Job Requirements:
  • Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN Massachusetts license & BLS, ACLS, and PALS preferred.
  • Experience: Requires 1-2 years previous OR RN experience.

Compensation Range: $38.10- $77.63

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements. In addition, BMCHS offers generous total compensation that includes, but is not limited to, benefits (medical, dental, vision, pharmacy), contract increases, Flexible Spending Accounts, 403(b) savings matches, earned time cash out, paid time off, career advancement opportunities, and resources to support employee and family wellbeing.
