Location: Piscataway, NJ (Hybrid 3 days a week)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced BMC Helix Developer to design, customize, and support ITSM solutions within our financial services environment. This role focuses on developing workflows, forms, integrations, and automation.  The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of investments, regulatory and security requirements within a financial institution and can deliver stable, scalable solutions

 Our client is undertaking a data migration initiative to consolidate data from multiple sources into a modern Snowflake platform. This role requires expertise in designing and implementing efficient data migration pipelines, transformations, and database schema designs to support evolving business needs. The successful candidate will also collaborate with business teams to enable data visualization through Power BI dashboards, fostering data-driven decision-making.

 Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data migration pipelines to move data from diverse sources into Snowflake.
  • Write Python scripts to automate migration, transformation, and data quality processes.
  • Build secure, cost-efficient data solutions on AWS
  • Participate in database and table design to optimize data storage and access in Snowflake.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration and transformation processes.
  • Document data processes, schema designs, and transformation logic to support ongoing maintenance and scalability.
  • Develop applications, workflows, and UI components
  • Build secure, compliant integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise middleware.
  • Support releases.

 Qualifications

  • 5+ years of BMC Helix development experience.
  • Proven experience with data migration and ETL processes involving various data sources such as files, DB2, and Teradata.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for scripting data pipelines and transformations.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platforms
