Job description

Steel FabricatorAerotek is Hiring!

Aerotek is seeking experienced Steel Fabricators to join a growing fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting shop drawings, laying out and fitting structural steel components, performing basic welding, and operating fabrication equipment to build high-quality steel assemblies in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $22.00 - $31.00 per hour + $3.50/HR

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

Overtime available as needed.Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols.
  • Measure, layout, fit, and assemble structural steel components.
  • Perform tack welding and basic MIG welding as required.
  • Operate fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, grinders, and oxy-fuel torches.
  • Heat straighten, cut, and prepare steel materials for fabrication.
  • Follow welding procedures, quality standards, and shop tolerances.
  • Perform basic welding machine setup and maintenance.
