Broadband Telecom Services is a full-service telecommunications construction contracting company with multiple locations throughout the state of Texas.
JOB CLASSIFICATION: Full-time
LOCATION: Aledo, Texas
PAY RATE: Hourly
REPORTS TO: Construction Supervisor
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous construction telecommunications construction is preferred
• Thorough knowledge of telecommunications construction including excavation equipment, utility lines & poles, and trenching equipment
• Must be able to read, understand, and comprehend engineering/blueprint design plans
• Plans, organizes, and completes projects in the shortest, most efficient manner
• Proficient written and oral communications skills
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor and provide general assistance to other employees as directed
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS-INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
• Keep materials & equipment organized, cleaned, and in proper running order
• Demonstrates a strong commitment and dedication to delivering excellent customer service through executing by BTS mission and values
• Maintain a strong line of open communication with direct Supervisor & Management team to address and resolve issues in a timely manner to drive productivity
• Supports a brand Company image by displaying a professional attitude and appearance at all times
• Analytical, problem solving, and organizational abilities
• Assume responsibility for productive of jobs, efficient use of materials, equipment, and contractual performance of the project
• Ensure all personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work polices
EDUCATION & LICENSES/CERTIFICATES:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and a safe driving record.
LANGUAGE/MATHEMATICAL SKILLS & REASONING ABILITY
  • Must be able to use written and verbal communications in English language.
REASONING ABILITY & PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Ability to work aloft. • Must have manual dexterity and the ability to utilize various hand tools and test equipment. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to kneel, crawl, push, pull, bend, stoop, lift and dig. • Must meet and maintain Company's safe weight policy.
