CNC Machine Operator

Location: Madison Heights, VA (Onsite)
Type: FullTime, All shifts
Pay: $18.0022.00/hr

Quality Archery Designs (QAD) has been manufacturing innovative and high-quality archery accessories in Madison Heights, VA since 1992. QAD is searching for full time operators of our CNC Swiss Style Lathe, CNC Mill Machines, and Wire EDM Machines to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Learn, comprehend, and understand mechanical blueprints
  • Learn calibration procedures and how to use digital calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other measurement tools as needed
  • Perform part inspections with a high level of attention to detail
  • Perform scheduled maintenance plans for all machines
  • Keep work areas safe, productive, and clean
  • Support a team approach with a strong work ethic
  • Work varying schedules, which may include day or night shifts, weekdays, weekends, and some holidays

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn and apply mechanical blueprint reading and precision measurement
  • Great attention to detail for accurate part inspections
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. independently
  • Fanuc control experience is a plus
  • CNC mill or CNC screw machine operation experience is a plus
  • Wire EDM operation experience is a plus
  • Willingness and flexibility to work on varying schedules, including potential shift work and holidays
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
