Description:ย Bluebonnet Implementation Coach

Primary Purpose: ย Provides direct, campus-based support to ensure the high-fidelity implementation of Bluebonnet Learning. This role focuses on accelerating student results by leading high-impact PLCs and providing real-time, actionable coaching to teachers on instructional delivery and curriculum internalization.
Qualifications:ย ย ย 

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Valid Texas teacher certificate in appropriate content area

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of curriculum, instructional design, and assessment
  • Strong understanding of TEKS alignment and state assessment rigor
  • Demonstrated ability to lead adult learning and facilitate high-impact PLCs
  • Ability to provide direct, actionable instructional feedback
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and relational capacity
  • Demonstrated coachability and commitment to continuous growth
  • Demonstrated commitment to building teacher capacity and improving student outcomes

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of exemplary classroom teaching
  • Demonstrated instructional leadership experience (team lead, department chair, instructional coach, etc.) preferred
  • Experience implementing high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) preferred.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Instructional Leadership and Implementation

  1. ย Collaborate with principals and grade-level leaders to plan, monitor, and strengthen implementation of Bluebonnet Learning.
  2. Lead and support structured PLC internalization cycles aligned to district expectations.
  3. Conduct classroom observations and implement coaching cycles (observation, feedback, follow-up).
  4. Model high-quality instructional strategies in real time through co-teaching that is aligned to Bluebonnet and district RBIS priorities.

Data and Continuous Improvement

  1. Support teachers and leaders in analyzing formative and summative assessment data.
  2. Facilitate student work analysis to refine instructional decisions
  3. Identify trends and collaborate with campus leaders to address instructional gaps

Organizational Effectiveness

  1. Maintain accurate documentation of coaching cycles, implementation data, and required reports.
  2. Comply with district policies and state and federal regulations.
  3. Support positive school climate through professional conduct and collaboration

Working Conditions:

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: ย Maintain emotional control under stress. Occasional districtwide and statewide travel; frequent prolonged and irregular hours. Frequent travel between district campuses; requires a high level of mobility and adaptability to different campus cultures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation:ย ย 

  • $750 for Masters paid in November
  • $1000 Attendance Bonus ($500 possible in December & $500 possible in June)
  • $225 paid toward TRS health insurance
  • $10,000 Life Insurance Policy at no cost to employee
