Job description

Laboratory Custodian:
Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified Laboratory Custodian. This position will be located in Lowell, OR.
The Laboratory Custodian plays a critical role in maintaining all areas of the Tissue Culture Laboratory clean and free of potential contaminants. The laboratory custodian is responsible for daily general cleaning, wet mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning (interior windows), restroom cleaning, and trash/recycle removal.
What you will do at Fall Creek:
  • Utilizes protective gear in all appropriate functions as required.
  • Performs cleaning activities within well established guidelines and assigned areas and shift(s) to ensure that quality standards, safety guidelines, and expectations are met.
  • Responsible for ensuring cleaning activities do not interfere with laboratory functions.
  • Demonstrates awareness and avoids activities that risk contamination of ongoing lab activities.
