Job description

Overnight Sanitation Associate

Pay: $18.00/hour
Shift: Overnight (Full-Time)
Location: Cold Storage Warehouse

Join Our Team!

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Overnight Sanitation Associates to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse that packages fresh blueberries. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe environment while working in a refrigerated warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Perform overnight cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, conveyor systems, and warehouse facilities.
  • Clean and sanitize floors, drains, walls, machinery, and food contact surfaces following company procedures.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment for proper cleaning when required.
  • Safely operate cleaning equipment, including pressure washers and floor scrubbers.
  • Properly mix and use cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines.
  • Remove trash, debris, and packaging materials throughout the facility.
  • Complete sanitation logs and cleaning documentation accurately.
  • Follow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, and OSHA regulations.
  • Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns to management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous sanitation, janitorial, warehouse, or food production experience preferred (training provided).
  • Ability to work overnight shifts consistently.
  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated warehouse environment (approximately 34F-40F).
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
