About This Opportunity
  
Our client plans to open 300 locations across Canada. With these exciting and rapid growth plans, we are looking for a District Manager for the business. Reporting to a Regional Manager, you will oversee and lead the execution of our strategic vision as it relates to operating plans and standards. What You Will Do
• Conduct regular restaurant visits to engage with teams and assess operational & people excellence
• Own and execute assigned KPIs for assigned Region/Area
• Ensure every restaurant monitors guest satisfaction and opportunities are resolved in accordance with established standards and with a sense of urgency
• Consistently monitor and manage costs and labour through scheduling and inventory controls
• Ensure all restaurants operate at a high-quality level with emphasis on guest service while adhering to all health and safety, company standards, and procedures
• Assist in the development of sales-building activities and evaluate the success of these activities.
• Assist in implementation of national promotional programs
• Recommend and implement local marketing tactics
• Manage assigned budget and labour dollars to maintain efficient operations
• Analyze and report weekly on controllables, sales and profits to ensure accurate and timely financial tracking.
• Facilitate and audit implementation of new processes, procedures, and initiatives
• Facilitate and monitor implementation and application of Human Resource policies, procedures, processes, and initiatives at restaurants
• Conduct monthly Financial, HR & Health & Safety audits on each restaurant
• Recruit, hire, train new managers and develop internal bench in direct area
• Ensure adherence to all training and certification requirements for all employees
• Motivate, coach and provide strong leadership to Restaurant Management to ensure successful operations • Role model our core values in every interaction
  
What You Need To Perform In This Job
• Some post-secondary education (e.g., hospitality, marketing, business) required. Completed degree or diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of quick service or restaurant experience
• 2-3 years leading multiple restaurant locations
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and development skills to contribute to achievement of team goals and promote teamwork
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing
• Organized, innovative, flexible. This role requires significant travel (min. 75% of time for restaurant visits)
