Blue-collar jobs are essential to industries such as manufacturing, construction, and maintenance. They often require specific technical skills, certifications, or apprenticeships, and can offer stable employment with opportunities for advancement. Marketing Specialist - Remote

Blue Raven Inc.

Edmonton, AB

Full-time

Job description

About Blue RavenWe are building something that has never existed before: an AI-native company dedicated to stopping financial fraud. Our founding team has done this before. Led by a 3-time founder with 13 patents and multiple successful exits, supported by a team experienced with building and scaling. Together, we are building a company where the mission is real, the team is small, and the work actually matters. We are still in stealth mode, well-funded, and moving fast. Our core team is going to market and every hire from here shapes what this company becomes. We are remote-first with in-person weekly connects across our Vancouver and Edmonton hubs. We use AI in everything we do, and we hire people who bring curiosity, horsepower, and that "just hand it to me" energy.About the RoleWe are hiring a Marketing Specialist to run the engine behind our public launch and everything that comes after it. This is a hands-on generalist role with three clear areas of ownership: our website, our email program, and our campaigns. You will run all three day to day, track what is working, and improve it on a regular schedule. You will sit on an integrated Marketing and Customer Success team, working shoulder to shoulder with our CX Operations Lead and CX Specialist rather than handing work off to them. We think the right person for this role is process-driven by instinct: you document what you build, name things consistently, and would rather fix a broken system than redo the same task by hand. You will not be handed a finished playbook. You will help build it, then make it repeatable for the next launch. What You Will Do Own day-to-day management of our marketing website in Webflow: page builds, copy updates, CMS entries, forms, and pre-publish QA. Own our analytics setup including GA4 and Google Tag Manager, track accurately, and report on funnel performance with a point of view on what to change. Run structured improvement work: A/B tests, landing page iterations, page speed, and SEO fundamentals. Own our email program end to end in Klaviyo, including lifecycle flows, one-off campaigns, templates, segments, and list health. Build and maintain core flows such as welcome, checkout recovery, trial nurture, and re-engagement, and own deliverability and compliance (CASL today, CAN-SPAM as we expand). Run integrated campaigns end to end: brief, calendar, asset production, build, launch, measurement, and retro. Support our public launch - Canada first, then the US - including asset production, launch-week execution, and daily funnel monitoring. Own feature release campaigns as we ship new capabilities, and build a repeatable release marketing kit anyone on the team can run. Run a small, capped paid social test program, and maintain our content calendar and organic social presence. Produce the weekly KPI report leadership reads, keep marketing documentation current in Notion, and work within our brand and messaging standards. What We Are Looking For 3-5 years in a hands-on marketing role - in-house at a startup or scale-up, or agency-side with direct client ownership. Consumer/B2C subscription experience is a strong plus. Genuine generalist range. You have personally built pages, written copy, set up tracking, sent campaigns, and pulled the numbers afterward. Website management experience in a visual CMS. Webflow preferred; Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress is fine if you can learn quickly. Marketing analytics competence: GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and UTM discipline, with the ability to explain what the data actually means. Email marketing platform ownership, Klaviyo preferred, including segmented lifecycle flows - not just newsletter blasts. Campaign management from brief to retro, including at least one launch or major release you helped run. Demonstrated AI fluency. You use AI tools as part of your daily working method, and you can talk specifically about what you have automated and where you have decided not to. Clear, plain-language writing, and comfort with ambiguity and a real launch deadline. Why Join Us The mission is real. Financial fraud costs people real money and real peace of mind, and your work will be part of stopping it. Real ownership from day one. You will be one of a handful of people responsible for how the company grows, and your work is visible immediately. AI-forward by default. We expect you to use AI to move faster and think better, and to apply your own judgment before anything ships. Early-employee upside. Joining a well-funded startup at this stage comes with equity and opportunity that later hires do not get. Small team. Real impact. Your work shows up directly in how customers experience Blue Raven.
