Job description

Blue Tree Digital is expanding its SEO practice and needs a seasoned link-building professional who can own outreach programs end-to-end, mentor junior staff, and keep multiple client campaigns on schedule. You will work directly with our strategy team to set priorities, then execute efficiently to deliver measurable results. What You'll Do Your day-to-day work revolves around acquiring high-quality backlinks that move the needle for our clients.

After agreeing on targets, you'll: Outreach & Relationship Management Design and send targeted email sequences Build rapport with publishers and negotiate placement terms Track communication history so nothing slips through the cracks Prospecting & Quality Control Use Ahrefs and similar suites to surface authoritative, niche-relevant sites Screen prospects for spam signals, traffic trends, and topical fit Maintain (and improve) our internal quality benchmarks Beyond execution, you'll document refinements to our SOPs and coach junior link builders to ensure consistent performance across the team. What Makes You a Fit We're looking for someone who can drop into a live pipeline and improve it from day one. That starts with a solid foundation: Experience: 3+ years running large-scale link campaigns—agency or in-house—where you handled rate negotiation, anchor strategy, and reporting.

Technical Skill: Power-user level with Ahrefs. Deep familiarity with leading AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for prospecting, personalization, and data cleanup. Quality Focus: A keen eye for spam indicators and a track record of protecting client reputations while scaling volume—this is an essential part of the role.

Communication & Autonomy: Clear written and verbal English, proactive in a remote, asynchronous environment. Previous agency leadership, exposure to P&L, or familiarity with digital PR is a bonus but not required. Compensation & Work Style This is a long-term, project-based role with room to grow alongside the agency.

We offer: Monthly pay: TBD (depending on experience). We are seeking Link Builders at all experience levels. A fully remote, flexible schedule—deliverables matter more than hours logged PTO and sick leave for full-time contributors A supportive team that values process improvements and results over buzzwords How to Apply Complete the short form at https://forms.gle/VzqZFa294kStnLms6 Attach a brief portfolio outlining three recent link campaigns—include KPIs, budgets, and a key negotiation insight for each.

If shortlisted, join a 30-minute strategy call with our Head of Operations and Co-Founders to discuss your approach. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; we'll contact selected candidates directly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
