Join our dynamic team of digital media instructors and filmmakerswho work in new and newly modernized state-of-the- art productionstudios, editing labs, and a podcast suite.

The program hasrecently expanded to a second campus and enrollment is growing.Students benefit from participation in an annual film festival,internship opportunities, and portfolio-building.

The Digital Media Production Program, which is one of CCBC’s mostrapidly growing academic programs, is seeking a candidate to teachproduction courses in film, television, content creation/new media,and video editing. The candidate may also teach courses thatrequire knowledge of film history, visual media, and screenwriting.The program serves a diverse population of students, which includestraditional and non-traditional students.

This position will be located on the Catonsville campus withpossible travel to Essex to teach additional courses.

Minimum Requirements

Master's Degree in Electronic Media and Film, Digital MediaProduction, Video Production, or related field; minimum two yearsprofessional experience in digital media production, includingstudio production, cinematography, and video editing; knowledge ofAdobe Creative Suite, ENG cameras, DSLR cameras, and digital cinemacameras required; proficiency in operating multicamera videoswitchers for live or recorded broadcasts. Two years teachingand/or training in the field preferred; experience preferably at the college level. Academic transcripts must be submitted withapplication.

Class Specific Essential Duties

Faculty teach 15 credits per semester, hold 5 office hours perweek, serve the college through committees and/or other service,and continue to enhance their skills and knowledge throughprofessional development.
