Our company is seeking an experienced Accounting Posting Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining ensuring timely and accurate posting of all accounting transactions. The candidate must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. This is a hybrid role

Essential functions:

  • Ensure accurate and timely standard is carried out by posting of deals daily while auditing the deal to ensure all required paperwork, contracts, and titles etc are accurate
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting principles, standards and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Post tag & title payments for assigned locations timely
  • Process and reconcile trade payoffs and direct purchases
  • Assist with the preparation of reports for management as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
