The RPA Developer is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting secure, scalable robotic process automation (RPA) solutions using the Automation Anywhere platform. This role partners with business and technical stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes. The RPA Developer also supports automation governance, code quality, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of RPA solutions using the Automation Anywhere platform.

  • Conduct detailed process assessments and technical feasibility analyses to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.

  • Collaborate with business partners, subject matter experts, and technical teams to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions.

  • Implement robust exception handling, error management, logging, monitoring, and system integration capabilities.

  • Develop reusable automation components, frameworks, and libraries that support enterprise-wide standards and best practices.

  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality development standards.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members as needed.

  • Manage bot deployments, version control, and the overall automation lifecycle in production environments.

  • Ensure compliance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, security requirements, and organizational standards.

  • Monitor bot performance, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency.

  • Maintain documentation for automation solutions, processes, and technical specifications.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent certifications and relevant experience may be considered.

  • 1-2 years of RPA development experience or a combination of relevant education and hands-on project experience.

  • Experience developing automations using Automation Anywhere.

  • Understanding of software development principles, SDLC methodologies, and application lifecycle management.

  • Knowledge of process analysis, business requirements gathering, testing, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred:
  • Automation Anywhere certifications.

  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.

  • Knowledge of source control and deployment management practices.

  • Experience supporting production automation environments and monitoring bot performance.
