About UC Blue Ash

The Allied Health Department at UC Blue Ash invites applicants for our Adjunct faculty general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed). 

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College (UCBA) is one of the largest regional colleges in Ohio. Job Overview

Allied Health Adjunct Faculty responsibilities include: Teaching associate level courses in introductory health professions, medical terminology, and/or pathophysiology. 


Adjunct faculty members will be expected to (1) use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems; (2) hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner; and (3) participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.


Courses may be offered day or evening, in face-to-face, hybrid or online formats. Teaching is assigned on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis.  This position is not eligible for visa or green card sponsorship.

Essential Functions
  • On a part-time basis, teach assigned undergraduate courses.
  • Using best practices, continually evaluate student coursework.
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities.
  • Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related and student communications.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an allied health or related field.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience within allied health field.
Additional Qualifications Considered
  • A minimum of one (1) year of successful classroom teaching experience in course content area.
