About Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital
In July 2024, we were recognized by U.S. News & World Report with an impressive performance. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital tied for the top spot in the state, ranks No. 10 nationally out of 257 hospitals in the OB/GYN category, ranked in the top 50 for nine specialties and had high performing ratings in 19 procedures and conditions. It is a major academic and referral center with Level I adult and Level II pediatric trauma designations. The advanced capabilities and clinical expertise within this center have earned it Magnet designation four consecutive times and has the distinct honor of housing Michigan's first Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence.
Scope of Work
As a Clinical Nurse with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You'll be responsible for using the nursing process framework and incorporating patient-family-centered care principles to ensure the highest quality of care. Under the direction of the Nurse Leader, you'll be a vital member of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Qualifications
  • Required Associate's Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate's degree or equivalent.
  • Required Bachelor's Degree B.S.N., or M.S.N, or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years, required. This is effective April 18, 2023.
  • Required Graduates from non-accredited school of nursing programs must have at least one year of acute care experience or greater than 2 years of experience in a licensed health care role, such as an LPN or EMT role, etc., and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
