Job description

As a Business Development Executive (BDE), you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by focusing on building relationships with new customers, particularly those with zero spend with INDG.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop territory, marketing, and growth strategies for prospects within the designated region of the United States capitalizing on trends impacting certain sectors.
  • Identify prospects with zero INDG spend and prioritize outreach efforts accordingly.
  • Plan weekly call lists and maintain prospect lists within defined territory(ies).
  • Uncover, qualify, and identify strategic level pains, business initiatives, and drivers for potential customers.
  • Build a customer relationship map, identifying decision-makers, influencers, coaches, and detractors within target organizations.
  • Generate referrals for adjacent sales divisions within INDG
  • Prioritize and nurture leads, reviewing overall territory, marketing, and growth strategies regularly.

Job Requirements:

  • Executive presence and ability to engage with high-level decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in complex/solution sales, with a track record of closing deals.
  • Perseverance and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
  • Creative solutioning and sales tactics to overcome obstacles.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for successful deal closure.
  • Highly skilled with Salesforce in both practical application and commitment to Salesforce hygiene
  • Ability to accurately stage, forecast and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in business, marketing, sales or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of successful sales experience in a business environment, comparable to Bloomberg Industry Group
  • Knowledge of assigned market (e.g. law firms, tax & accounting, corporations) preferred

Compensation Range:

$110,000.00

You will also participate in the Sales Incentive Program, which pays out incentives based on exceeding sales targets. During the interview process, our hiring team will discuss the compensation elements that make up the on-target earnings for this role, including how to maximize your earnings in this position.
