Description & Requirements
Bloomberg's Supply Chain is a dynamic global organization, providing support to our internal and external customers through Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Warehousing, operating out of 22 global locations and distributing our equipment to over 190 countries. We work hand-in-hand with our businesses to support them in achieving success and maintaining efficiency. We plan, distribute and manage the returns of the goods and services that Bloomberg needs to do business. We pride ourselves on being subject matter authorities.
Bloomberg's Supply Chain department is seeking a Project Delivery Manager to join our team. This individual will support a mix of software development teams and operational stakeholders across complex, cross-functional initiatives. In this role, you will act as a delivery enabler-driving execution, facilitating Agile best practices, and ensuring product outcomes are aligned with stakeholder needs. You will partner with Product Owners, Analysts, Engineering, and Supply Chain leaders to manage dependencies, support delivery planning, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
We will trust you to:
  • Manage the delivery of complex software programs involving cross-functional teams.
  • Define projects scope, milestones, risk management plans, and success metrics.
  • Identify and remove delivery impediments, while enabling clear communication and issue resolution across stakeholders.
  • Monitor delivery progress against roadmaps and sprint plans, escalating risks proactively and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Foster transparency, shared accountability, and outcome-driven execution across Supply Chain programs.
  • Assess, adapt and implement the right-fit delivery framework (methodologies, tools and techniques) most appropriate to help the team achieve their goal as efficiently as possible.
  • Guide and advise leadership in defining, communicating and amplifying product vision, goals and roadmap.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and planning activities that promote engagement, transparency, and cross-team coordination.

You'll need to have:
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting software delivery, operations, or program management in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience working with Agile teams, including facilitation of scrum events, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • A successful track record of driving complex projects to completion across business and technology teams.
  • Project management experience in cross-functional environments.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain processes and metrics.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present data findings effectively.

We'd love to see:
  • An innovator comfortable with the delicate balance of bold visioning, intelligent strategy, and sophisticated execution.
  • An adaptable problem-solver who is impatient with the status quo, seeks to make things better and more efficient, and isn't afraid to make bold decisions in ambiguity.
  • Experience utilizing SAP/ERPs for supply chain processes.
  • A hands-on leader who builds transparency, values collaboration, holds self and team accountable, and can link what we do and why we do it to empower the team around them to think beyond specific tasks, understand the goal, and drive value for the business.
