To thrive as a Phlebotomist, you need a solid understanding of venipuncture techniques, specimen handling, and infection control, typically supported by a phlebotomy certification or relevant healthcare training. Familiarity with laboratory information systems, blood collection equipment, and safety protocols is essential. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a calm, reassuring demeanor help build patient trust and ensure accurate sample collection.
