eClerx is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our Application Development team's technical implementation for enterprise software and its blockchain and digital-asset infrastructure.

As a Software Engineer, you'll own and deliver features end to end. You must have a strong technical foundation in full-stack engineering, including hands-on experience integrating blockchain and Web3 technologies into enterprise systems, along with a passion for scalable and secure design

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate client needs into high-impact solutions

  • Build test automation across the full stack of our software and follow engineering best practices

  • Optimize application performance and reliability in a cloud environment

  • Implement blockchain integrations, node connectivity, transaction submission, event monitoring, wallet/custody interactions, and signing/approval workflows, using enterprise-grade backend and Web3 libraries

  • Write, test, and deploy smart contracts (Solidity or equivalent) following established security practices, handle full transaction lifecycle, submission, confirmation, idempotency, and failure/reversal handling, with audit-friendly logging

  • Partner with Product Managers and Technical Project Managers to understand scope, timelines, and priorities.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders

Eligibility Requirements

  • BS or BA in Computer Science or related field

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with strong backend expertise in one or more languages (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, Go)

  • Hands-on experience building on blockchain/DLT platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger Besu, or Canton/Daml), including transaction lifecycle (gas, nonce, confirmations, finality) and event processing

  • Experience with frontend frameworks (React/Angular) using TypeScript/JavaScript

  • Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization

  • Proficiency with REST APIs, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)

  • Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
