Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Block layer/Mason to join our team. In this role, you will restore old stonework and install new Block/stonework. You will use a combination of modern power tools and traditional hand tools. The ideal candidate has a proven track record as a skilled Block layer and a love of the craft. You will be the sole block layer and may have opportunity to learn Brick.
Responsibilities 
  • Mix cement and mortar
  • Lay Block / Brick
  • Install dressed stone
  • Restore damaged stonework
  • Assist in building layout, framing, sheathing, and roofing structures
  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic construction tasks
  • Train apprentices in masonry skills-Looking for Journeyman quality

  • Previous experience as a Block layer or Mason
