Your Role at KIK

At KIK, we are seeking a detail-oriented Chemical Processor to join our 1st Shift team (Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, with occasional overtime as needed). In this role, you will conduct quality checks, perform changeover processes, operate continuous blending/batching equipment for bleach and ammonia products, and follow strict guidelines for wastewater treatment and waste disposal. Candidates must be able to wear a full-face respirator and Level A suit when necessary, adhere to OSHA Hazard Materials Procedures, complete required paperwork, and comply with safety, GMP, and company policies. Attention to detail, strong mathematical skills, and safe chemical handling are essential. You will work around flammable, combustible, and corrosive chemicals. This position offers an hourly rate of $23.00 and is eligible for a 3% quarterly bonus. Apply Today!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform quality checks, titrate bleach and water hardness testing
  • Operate continuous blending and batching processes for bleach, household cleaners, and ammonia products
  • Follow guidelines for wastewater treatment and proper disposal of waste materials
  • Comply with OSHA Hazard Materials Procedures and safety/GMP guidelines
  • Complete accurate and timely paperwork (batch tickets)
  • Follow detailed procedures carefully to complete batching processes
  • Utilize basic mathematical skills for process monitoring

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3 or more years of experience in processing or batching manufacturing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Participation in the site emergency response team
  • Basic computer skills
  • Comfortable working around flammable, combustible, and corrosive chemicals, as well as high noise levels, odors, and fumes
  • Able to wear a full-face respirator and Level A suit as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Using hands and arms for moving items
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods, up to 12 hours
