As an Assistant Manager, you'll be the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from open to close. You'll be a hands-on leader who develops our amazing team of pizza makers and drivers, maintains our high standards of quality and cleanliness, and most importantly, develops a great team!

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Leading, directing, and supervising both our in-store and delivery teams.
  • Maintaining high standards of product quality, service, cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.
  • Ordering food and performing nightly inventories.
  • Running the store according to Blackjack Pizza & Salads' operating procedures and standards.
  • Ensuring staff follow health and safety regulations.
  • Stocking ingredients, preparing products, and processing orders.
  • Taking inventory and completing associated paperwork.
  • Cleaning equipment and the facility daily.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • Proven experience as a Shift Manager or similar role with responsibility.
  • A hands-on, servant leader approach.
  • Comfort with food preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and computer skills.
  • A great attitude and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
  • A \can-do\ attitude with the desire to make a career out of this position.

What You'll Need:

  • ServSafe/Food Manager Certification REQUIRED.
  • Quick-Serve Pizza Experience REQUIRED (Blackjack Pizza, Domino's, Papa John's, Marcos, etc.).
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience within the food service/retail/customer service industry, including Profit & Loss responsibility.
  • Ability to calculate/analyze data.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills.
  • Reliable vehicle and current driver's license.
  • Personal computer operations are preferred.
