Various work study position on the Corinth or Gainesville Campus
* Work-study general duties involve entry-level tasks like answering phones, filing, data entry, copying, and customer service, providing students with work experience while earning money, with specific duties varying by department (e.g., tutoring, lab support, event help) but always requiring professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to workplace policies.
* Students track and report hours accurately, follow supervisor instructions, and maintain appropriate conduct. May perform other duties as assigned.
* This is a part time position, with a maximum of 19 hours per week. Hours may be flexible during workweek of Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday, 8 am - to Noon based on department need.
* Pay: $16.00 an hour
*Applicants must have applied for financial aid and have financial need, including enrollment at NCTC.

Required Skills & Abilities
Requires use of office equipment such as computers, telephones, printers, copiers, fax machines, and scanners.
Office environment that requires working at a computer, typing, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. Frequent bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, distinguishing letters and symbols, corrected vision and hearing within normal range, mathematical ability, speaking and writing proficiently in the English language, working under occasionally stressful conditions.

Required Experience
Previous experience as a student using a Learning Management System (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle etc.) to navigate coursework, access materials, follow instructions, and submit assignments on time.

Must be people oriented and able to multitask. Can identify issues, gather relevant information, and follow instructions to reach a solution.
Familiarity with basic office software such as email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
