How do BJJ coaches typically structure classes to accommodate students of varying skill levels?

BJJ coaches often design classes with a warm-up, technique instruction, drilling, and live rolling segments, but they also tailor their teaching to accommodate both beginners and advanced students. Coaches may break the class into smaller groups for specific technique work or offer progressions and variations based on each student's experience. This approach ensures that all students are challenged appropriately and can progress at their own pace, fostering a supportive and effective learning environment. Additionally, coaches often encourage more experienced students to assist newer members, promoting teamwork and camaraderie.
