Clinical Nurse Specialist - Heart & Vascular Services

Position Details:

  • Schedule: M-F, 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm
  • No Weekends! No Holidays! No Call
  • Responsibilities: Support Heart & Vascular Services
  • Preferred: 2 or more years of nursing, charge or leadership experience

Role Purpose

Acts as the clinical expert, promoting evidence based practice working with staff, patients, families, and physicians.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct care and consultation in the management of patient care.
  • Improves the quality of health care by providing educational services to patients, families, community and health care professionals.
  • Educates, develops and supports clinical practice.
  • Conducts scientific investigation and research.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Master's Degree - Nursing (Accredited CNS Program)
  • Experience: <2 years

Supervisor Experience: No Experience

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • RN

Preferred Requirements

  • Education: Doctorate - Nursing
  • Experience: 2-5 years
