SeniorFinancial Analyst III

BizFirst is seeking a SeniorFinancial Analyst III to support Commander, Naval Surface Forces, U.S.Pacific Fleet in San Diego.

This position provides FinancialImprovement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) leadership support to the CNSP Comptroller,delivering financial analysis, audit readiness, system support, and trainingservices. The Lead Financial Program Analyst will ensure effective andefficient execution of the CNSP Financial Management Program.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,Finance, or Business from an accredited United States college oruniversity
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant FIARexperience (within the last two years)
  • Recent experience (within thelast two years) serving as a Lead Financial Program Analyst
  • Experience planning, directing,coordinating, and analyzing financial activities of a branch, office, ordepartment
  • Experience recommendingalternative funding methods to meet financial program objective
  • Experience generating reportsand analysis thru Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), DefenseTravel System (DTS), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Advana, Jupiter,Microsoft Access databases, Excel, and Power BI
  • Secret Clearance (required)
Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as Lead Financial ProgramAnalyst with full authority for contractor performance and daily contractoperations
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, andanalyze accounting and financial activities to ensure efficient use ofresources
  • Support budget development, costtracking, financial reporting, and recommend corrective actions based onvariance analysis
Financial Systems & Audit Readiness Support
  • Generate regular and ad-hocfinancial reports using Navy ERP (N-ERP), DTS, WAWF, Advana, Jupiter,Microsoft Access, Excel, and Power BI
  • Perform trial balancereconciliations, variance analysis, abnormal balance resolution, andfeeder system validation
  • Support audit readiness, contractcompliance reviews, and financial documentation integrity across CNSP
Training, Process Improvement & Program Management
  • Develop and sustain N-ERPtraining strategies and update SOPs, desk guides, and learning materials
  • Identify process improvementsacross financial and business systems to strengthen compliance andefficiency
  • Provide administrative andprogram support including meeting coordination, briefing materials, agendadevelopment, and action tracking
