As a Resident Attendant, you will have the opportunity to: To provide residents with assistance in hygiene care; Contribute to medical care and delegated acts (with training received: Law 90 art. 39,7 and 39,8); Contribute to ensuring the safety of residents and premises; To provide assistance in crisis and emergency situations; Perform tasks related to housekeeping, tidying, and laundry; Collaborating with the healthcare team; All other related tasks. Experiences and training: Diploma or equivalency (document issued by a school board confirming the equivalency): Diploma of Vocational Studies in Personal Assistance in Health Care Facilities (DEP), or; Diploma of Vocational Studies in Home-Based Personal Assistance (DEP), or; Diploma in personal assistance in private seniors' residences (AP-RPA), or; Have completed a Recognition of Acquired Competencies (RAC) issued by a school service centre, or; One year of training in nursing, or; 5,000 hours recognized. Law 90 training (document issued by a school board confirming the equivalence); Recognized and valid first aid and PDSB (ASSTSAS) cards; Good knowledge of spoken and written French; Working knowledge of spoken English (for English-speaking regions); Ability to communicate and work in a team; To be able to face the constraints and difficulties of work; Demonstrate patience and listen; To love people of a certain age.
