Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Worker for our client's Non-Case Holding team in Durham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the East Durham team in a non-case-holding role. The position focuses on delivering bespoke pieces of work to support children and families, without the responsibility of managing a caseload.
You will work flexibly and collaboratively with managers and colleagues to provide high-quality assessments and interventions that make a real difference.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Complete Pre-Birth Assessments, Parenting Assessments, and Children & Family Assessments, as well as other assessments identified by the manager.
  • Work creatively to design tailored packages of support for children and families, considering wider family networks, community resources, and local authority services.
  • Ensure all work complies with statutory requirements and best practice standards.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records and reports in line with professional expectations.
  • Collaborate with managers and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Social Work England registration
  • Qualified Social Worker (Degree or equivalent)
  • Experience in completing Pre-Birth, Parenting and Children & Family Assessments
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
