Our client, a renowned leader in biotechnology, is revolutionizing the use of living cells to create groundbreaking biologic medicines. As a guiding force in the biotech industry, they set the bar for innovation and advancement. They are looking for a reliable Associate Manufacturing Technician to join their team in New Albany, OH.
Location: New Albany, OH
Pay rate: $18- 22/hr. ( Night shift- $25/hr.)
Job type: 1 year contract (high chance of extension)
Schedule options:
  • 12 hour shifts 6pm-6:30am- Swing shift with alternating days
  • 6am- 6:30pm
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Entry-Level Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is flexible, has a strong work ethic, can stand for extended periods, and can occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. No prior manufacturing experience is required, but prior experience in filling and finishing operations is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform moderately complex to complex manufacturing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Inspect and package product-filled vials per batch records and procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Set up and operate manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist with other manufacturing operations, such as filling support activities.
  • Support internal operations, including stocking, tracking inventory, and moving materials.
  • Recognize and report equipment malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Train new Techs on routine tasks.
  • Understand and apply packaging configurations.
  • Follow and document batch records for inspection and packaging processes.
  • Reconcile components and products, including calculating product exposure to room temperature.

Requirements
  • HS Diploma/G.E. D or B.S
  • Experience in manufacturing, filling, or GMP environment is preferred.
  • Ability to use computer systems to document electronic batch records.
  • Coachable, ability to take coaching/critique and show learned/measurable improvement.
  • Understanding of measurements, calculations, and the metric system.
  • Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
