The Production Associate is responsible for safely performing job functions at the highest level of quality in the processing of media, mesh and elements. Additionally, the associate is responsible for accurate paperwork and record keeping. The successful candidate must have the ability to use measuring and test equipment as required, follow all company rules and policies as well as OSHA/EPA regulations. This position reports to the Production Supervisor, is part of the Metals department, and is an onsite role.

The 1st shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:50am to 3:20pm.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Inspect, cut and lay-up of dynalloy, fibermet and continuous rolls and perform final inspection, trim and package media products
  • Operate calendaring equipment (rolling mills), Hydrogen furnace and vacuum furnaces
  • Stage and unstage media sheets and continuous rolls to manufacturer and thickness specifications

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Experience in like work centers and accuracy using both calipers and micrometers.
  • Good mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 8 hours
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • A heavy manufacturing environment
  • Working with steel microfibers
