Job description

Pritchard Industries is a dynamic and innovative provider of comprehensive facility services, dedicated to enhancing the operational efficiency of our client partners in the industries we serve. With services from facility maintenance and janitorial to landscaping and snow removal, we enable desired outcomes for our clients through consistent service and outstanding people.
We are seeking to hire a GMP General Cleaner. A GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Cleaning job involves ensuring that manufacturing and production areas meet strict cleanliness and sanitation standards.
A GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Cleaner maintains hygienic, contamination-free environments in pharmaceutical, biotech, or food manufacturing facilities. They follow strict SOPs to clean and sanitize production equipment and rooms, document activities, and wear specialized PPE. This role ensures regulatory compliance and product safety.
Core Responsibilities
  • GMP Cleaning: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly deep cleaning/sanitization of production rooms, cleanrooms, and equipment, including floors, walls, and ceilings.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete cleaning logs.
  • Contamination Control: Utilize specialized, approved cleaning agents and methods (e.g., lint-free supplies) to prevent contamination, following strict gowning procedures.
  • Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and manage hazardous materials in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Area Maintenance: Clean common areas, such as breakrooms and restrooms, while re-stocking supplies and organizing storage.

Job Requirements
  • Must be able to follow instructions from Supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • GMP Cleaning experience a plus but will train.
  • Experience with floor machines.
  • Reliable Transportation.
  • Flexibility with schedule.
  • Compliance: Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SOPs.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift, bend, kneel, and reach.
  • Communication: Strong attention to detail for documentation and communication.

Working Conditions
  • Work usually requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), full face respirators.
  • Often involves working in controlled environments (cleanrooms).

  • 40 hrs/week, Monday - Friday 5:00 am-1:30 pm, after hours and weekends when needed
