Bloomberg Intelligence ("BI") conducts in-depth research on small and midsize companies to help stock and bond investors effectively evaluate those companies. We analyze the unique attributes of emerging technologies, build models by extracting data from company filings and track how the business strategies and successes translate into financial results.
BI research is a combination of written analysis accompanied by interactive charting and analytics created from company reported data as well as industry and government data. Analysts review, check and curate this data into comprehensive and logically arranged dashboards to support their own research and to provide Bloomberg Terminal users a platform to view and analyze the data as well.

BI is looking for a highly motivated research analyst focusing on biotech to be part of the global healthcare team. A good understanding of science and biotech business models is a must. You will be entrusted to deliver high quality and timely content while also growing our data offering.
We'll trust you to:
• Leverage your knowledge of biotechnology companies to actively create industry and company investment research on a regular basis.
• Be a subject matter expert in drug development, preferably in the disease areas of immunology and inflammation.
• Monitor, interpret and react to major company developments, and identify macro themes and trends affecting investments.
• Work closely with the global healthcare team to coordinate and collaborate on analysis.
• Develop and maintain relationships with investors, industry and market professionals, investor relations personnel, and senior management at target companies.
• Participate and initiate marketing events like webinars and round-tables to commercialize research ideas.
• Work with Global Data teams to ensure data completeness and quality control for existing and new data sets of target companies.
You need to have:
• At least 4 years of experience with an advanced degree in a relevant science field, or commensurate experience.
• Experience interpreting financial statements and financial modelling.
• Knowledge of advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of finance and accounting.
• Exceptional primary research and writing skills.
• Self-starter, independent thinker and collaborative team player.
• Strong organization skills, and capable of handling multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization

Salary Range = 150,000 - 210,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
