Reporting to the Director, Product Management, the Applications Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Centrifugal and Diaphragm Metering Pump Application team comprised of Application Engineers and Product Specialist to support customers with technical support, quotations and product training.  

Education:
•    B.S. mechanical engineering or equivalent degree required.

Experience: 

•    Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical manager
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting applications and/or engineering
•    Experience in the pump industry highly preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

•    Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and product specialists.
•    Advanced understanding of hydraulic theory, mechanical design, and pump equipment applications. 
•    A proactive, self-starting approach to anticipating challenges, troubleshooting, and executing actionable solutions. 
•    Highly organized with the ability to synthesize complex information and navigate fast-paced environments. 
•    Articulate written and verbal skills, with a track record of clearly presenting technical concepts to customers.
•    A dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and a focus on delivering winning results. 

Duties and Responsibilities:  

•    Lead the Applications team to deliver industry-leading technical support for PSG chemical metering pumps and feed systems by driving ongoing cross-training across brands. 
•    Partner with Director, Product Management to establish, track, and manage departmental KPIs and metrics for team.
•    Oversee complex technical support, product configuration, and quotation generation to directly accelerate the sales cycle.
•    Performs technical support and troubleshooting for customers and end users in support of Sales.
•    Manages the design and delivery of comprehensive technical training programs for or internal staff, customers, EPCs, consultants, and key industry stakeholders.
•    Partners with Marketing by authoring technical literature, executing trade shows, industry/customer events and product training.
•    Support Product Management Team on strategic initiatives, including New Product Development (NPD) launches. 
•    Champion adherence to company policies 
•    All other duties as assigned. 

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Pay Range: $127,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
