Job Description
As a Security Officer Biopharmaceutical Overnight Mobile Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post supports a professional environment through routine patrols and timely response to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare and biotechnology setting.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor records, and support adherence to site entry requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of laboratories, office areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Document daily activities, observations, and incidents accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
