Services include technical analysis, system design, software development, implementation, training, and ongoing technical support for field operations.
The Junior Biometrics Software Engineer - BCS will report to the Software Development Manager and work as part of a collaborative team of software engineers, DevOps engineers, QA engineers, and business analysts. This role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting biometric software solutions used for identity verification, biometric enrollment, matching, and integration with immigration and border management systems.
This is a hands-on technical role, and candidates should be prepared to demonstrate relevant experience and technical expertise.
What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain biometric software applications and services across web and Windows-based platforms.
  • Assist in implementing biometric processing solutions, including fingerprint, facial recognition, and identity management technologies.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, services, and applications that support biometric data processing and system integration.
  • Support integration of biometric hardware devices such as fingerprint scanners, cameras, and enrollment stations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and integration challenges.
  • Apply secure coding practices and contribute to maintaining system security, reliability, and scalability.
