Job description

R amp;R Tool continues to grow rapidly and we are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Tech. R amp;R Tool, Inc. is a contract machine shop located in Blanchester, Ohio that specializes in medical manufacturing with tight-tolerance precision parts.
Summary: Manufacturing Engineer Technicians get involved on the ground level of the production processes and develop the expertise to see production through to completion.
Education and Experience: The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree or one to two years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
General Requirements:
  • Stable work history from manufacturing environment
  • CAD / CAM experience
  • Must have demonstrated a willingness to learn in all aspects of the company.
  • Must have a good understanding of inspection and inspection methods.
  • Operated CNC Machinery and performed inspection(s).
  • Have an understanding of Mills, Lathes, EDM Wire Machines, Punch Presses, Gauges and Fixtures.
  • Must know different cutting tools and their function.
  • Must be able to read and understand simple prints.
  • Must be willing to carry out engineering tasks and assignments.
  • Must have demonstrated a good ability of problem-solving techniques.
  • Must have a good understanding of spread sheets and Microsoft Word.
  • Must understand the importance of documentation.
  • Must be willing to work over-time upon occasion.
  • Must work well with all levels of management
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of time management.
